The Library makes reasonable efforts to provide reliable access but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service or specific connection speeds.
2. Information Accuracy & User Responsibility
The internet is a global and unregulated information environment. Not all information available online is accurate, complete, or current. Users are encouraged to evaluate information sources critically and verify information from multiple, reliable sources before relying on it.
The McKellar Township Public Library is not responsible for the accuracy, content, or reliability of information found on the internet.

The Library respects the privacy of its users and makes reasonable efforts to protect personal information. However, the internet is not a secure medium. Users are responsible for protecting their own personal information, including passwords and financial data, while online.
Public computers are cleared after each session, but users should log out of accounts and close browsers when finished.
5. Filtering
The Library does not actively monitor or regularly filter internet content. Parents and caregivers—not Library staff—are responsible for supervising their children’s internet use and guiding them in safe and appropriate online behavior.
6. Liability
